ABOUT US
Shaheed Baba Jiwan Singh Khasla College, Satlani Sahib, Amritsar was established by Jathedar S. Avtar Singh Ji, Honourable President Shiromani Gurudwara Parbandhak Committee (SGPC), Sri Amritsar, in the year of 2011 to uplift the weaker section of the border and rural area of Amritsar district and also the literacy bar of the ruralites. The special efforts made by Directorate of Education, SGPC, Chandigarh to establish this institute is worth mentioning.
Its foundation stone was laid down by honourable Chief Minister S. Parkash Singh Ji Badal and Cabinet Minister S. Gulzar Singh Ji Ranike in December 2008. The College provides high-quality education and complete technical knowledge to the young generation and encourages girl students of the surrounding border and rural areas to join degree-level and professional courses.
